What to Do If Your Top-Up Voucher Email Has Not Arrived

If your mobile top-up voucher email has not arrived, do not worry straight away. In most cases, the voucher has not been lost. The email may be in a different inbox folder, the payment may still be processing, or the email address used at checkout may need checking.

UPTOP sends mobile top-up voucher codes by email. If your code has not arrived, use the checks below before contacting support.

Quick answer

Most UPTOP voucher codes are sent to the chosen email address within seconds of successful payment. In some cases, delivery can take up to 2 minutes.

If your voucher email has not arrived, first check your spam, junk, promotions and deleted folders. Then confirm the email address used at checkout and make sure your payment completed successfully.

If you still cannot find the voucher email, contact support@up-top.uk and include the email address used for your order, the network selected, the voucher amount, and the approximate time of purchase.

1. Wait up to 2 minutes after payment

Voucher emails are usually quick, but they may not appear instantly in every inbox. Some email providers take longer to process automated order emails, especially emails that contain voucher codes or numbers.

Before contacting support, wait up to 2 minutes after successful payment and refresh your inbox.

2. Check spam, junk and promotions folders

If the voucher email is not in your main inbox, check the folders where automated emails often get filtered.

Check:

  • Spam or Junk

  • Promotions

  • Updates

  • All Mail

  • Archive

  • Deleted or Bin

You can also search your mailbox for:

  • UPTOP

  • voucher

  • top up

  • the network name, such as O2, EE or Vodafone

If you find the email in spam or junk, mark it as safe so future voucher emails are easier to receive.

3. Check the email address used at checkout

A small typing mistake can stop the voucher email from reaching you. This is one of the most common reasons an order email does not arrive.

Common mistakes include:

  • typing .con instead of .com

  • missing a letter in the email address

  • using an old saved email address from browser autofill

  • entering a work email by mistake

  • entering the recipient’s email incorrectly when buying for someone else

If you think the email address may have been entered incorrectly, contact UPTOP support and include the details you remember from the order.

4. Make sure the payment completed successfully

A voucher email is only sent after successful payment. If checkout was interrupted, the payment failed, or the payment is still processing, the voucher may not have been issued yet.

Check whether:

  • you reached the order confirmation screen

  • your card payment was approved

  • you received any payment confirmation from your bank or card provider

  • the payment is showing as pending rather than completed

If you are unsure whether the payment went through, contact support before placing another order.

5. If you bought the voucher for someone else

If you bought a voucher for another person, check which email address was entered during checkout.

You may have:

  • sent the voucher to your own email address

  • entered the other person’s email address

  • typed the recipient’s email address incorrectly

If the voucher was sent to your own email address, you can forward the code to the person who needs it. If it was sent to the recipient’s email address, ask them to check their spam, junk and promotions folders too.

6. Contact UPTOP support if the email still has not arrived

If you have waited up to 2 minutes, checked all inbox folders and confirmed the payment completed, contact UPTOP support.

A useful support message could be:

Hi, I bought a mobile top-up voucher but the email has not arrived. I have checked spam, junk and promotions. The email address used was [your email], the network was [network], the amount was [amount], and the order was placed at around [time]. Please can you help?

You can also use the UPTOP contact page to get in touch.

Voucher email not arrived vs voucher not working

There are two different issues:

  • The voucher email has not arrived
You cannot see the email containing your code.

  • The voucher code has arrived but is not working
You have the code, but there may be an issue with redemption.

If your email has not arrived, follow the steps on this page.

If your code has arrived but you are having trouble redeeming it, check that:

  • you are using the voucher on the correct mobile network

  • the code has been typed exactly as shown

  • you have not already redeemed the code

  • you are following the correct redemption method for that network

How to avoid missing voucher emails in future

To make future top-ups smoother:

  • use an email address you can access immediately

  • check the email address carefully before payment

  • avoid using a work email if it has strict spam filters

  • add UPTOP to your safe sender list

  • keep your order details until the voucher has been received and redeemed
